About Jorge
Hi! I’m Jorge,
a Portuguese Voiceover Artist with a journey that began behind the mic as a radio host. From the moment I stepped into that studio, I knew I’d found my ocean—a vast, deep sea of voiceover opportunities just waiting to be explored. So, I grabbed my diving gear (figuratively speaking) and plunged in, learning and growing along the way. Every day, I strive to add a touch of magic to every message I deliver. These days, I have the pleasure of working with clients from all over the world, right from my home recording studio on Europe’s West Coast in Portugal. When I’m not behind the mic, you might find me hosting on the radio, paddleboarding, swimming, working out, diving into music, exploring marketing, or simply enjoying life with my family. But enough about me—let’s see if we have something in common! If so, I’d love to connect and bring your words to life. I WAS FORTUNATE TO HAVE LEGENDARY MENTORS GUIDING ME from the start. In my mid-20s, when I got my first break as a professional on local radio stations, I knew I was destined for the entertainment industry. With iconic coaches shaping my journey, I learned the ropes from the best. BUT I COULDN'T IGNORE THE BUG TO EXPLORE MORE OF THE WORLD. With a solid background in languages and a passion for communication, I set off on an adventure, using my polyglot skills to navigate a parallel career in marketing. This path took me across the globe, where I met incredible people, immersed myself in diverse cultures and collected journals of wild stories. IN 1998, I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO RE-ENTER THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY. And I quickly realised that my passion for voiceover was stronger than ever. I dove deep into the field, honing my craft and collaborating with incredible clients on projects ranging from commercials and corporate work to narration, E-Learning etc. What excites me most about this career is the power of connecting with the audience and bringing a story to life. Fortunately, my travels are now more vocal journeys than frantic airport runs in jeans and a well-worn leather jacket. |
